A man has died after being hit by a car driven by a learner driver.
The driver was being supervised on a lesson, when they lost control of the car and hit a 36-year-old pedestrian.
The man was fatally injured in the crash and died at the scene on the A93 near Ballater in Aberdeenshire.
The road was closed fro around four hours after the incident on Sunday morning at around 10.30.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and have encouraged anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the non-emergency number 101.
